By accessing or using PayPerScrape ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Service.

2. Description of Service

PayPerScrape provides a pay-per-request web scraping API service. The Service allows you to programmatically scrape web content using our API endpoint, with automatic strategy escalation and optimization.

3. Payment and Pricing

The Service operates on a pay-per-request model using the x402 payment protocol. You pay only for successful API requests. All payments are processed through the x402 protocol, and we do not store payment credentials.

Current pricing: $0.05 per request. Prices are subject to change with notice.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Scrape private networks, localhost, or internal IP addresses
• Violate any website's terms of service or robots.txt
• Scrape content in violation of copyright or intellectual property rights
• Use the Service for illegal activities
• Attempt to circumvent rate limits or abuse prevention measures
• Scrape personal data without proper consent or legal basis

5. Rate Limiting

We implement rate limiting to prevent abuse and ensure fair usage. Rate limits apply per IP address and per wallet. Exceeding rate limits may result in temporary or permanent access restrictions.

6. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or unforeseen circumstances. We are not liable for any losses resulting from service unavailability.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its API, documentation, and website, is owned by PayPerScrape and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without permission.

Content scraped through the Service remains the property of its original owners. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to use scraped content.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PAYPERSCRAPE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
